Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Human Resources Business Partner within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.

Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Voyatek aligns HR initiatives with business objectives by providing tailored guidance to department heads, analyzing trends, and developing HR solutions that enhance employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role involves resolving complex employee issues, ensuring legal compliance, and advising on fair compensation practices based on market trends and internal equity principles. Additionally, the HRBP acts as Voyateks Wellness Ambassador, advocating for wellness programs and managing related initiatives, while supporting other HR-related duties to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly meetings with assigned business units to understand their HR needs, gather feedback, and provide proactive support.
  • Partner with department heads to deliver tailored HR guidance, ensuring alignment with business goals and HR best practices.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to analyze trends and metrics, leading to the development and implementation of effective HR solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations issues through comprehensive, objective investigations, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, working with the legal department to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on performance management, including coaching, career development, disciplinary actions, and overall employee development.
  • Work closely with both management and employees to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and drive productivity and retention.
  • Offer clear HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of compensation structures, internal equity principles, and market trends to advise on pay decisions, ensuring fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Act as Voyateks Wellness Ambassador by advocating for the companys wellness programs, regularly updating intranet wellness page with education materials, assisting employees with wellness-related inquiries, and collaborating with vendors to enhance and execute company wellness initiatives.
  • Take on other HR-related duties as needed to support the overall HR strategy and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a remote or multi-state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and compensation principles.
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present HR data effectively.
  • Experience in writing and implementing HR processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a dispersed workforce.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with wellness program initiatives.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • Candidates located in central or mountain time zone, strongly preferred

Work Environment:

  • This is a fully remote position with occasional virtual meetings and collaboration.

Ability to work effectively with employees across approximately 40 states. The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $56,700 to $87,900.
