Auto CAD Drafter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for structured cabling projects. This role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient designs that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings and schematics for structured cabling systems.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to gather project requirements and specifications.

Prepare and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.

Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation.

Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including material lists and cost estimates.

Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and verify existing conditions.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).

Experience in drafting for structured cabling or related fields.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into visual representations.

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for structured cabling systems.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree or certification in CAD drafting, engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in the structured cabling industry.
