Required Qualifications: (as evidenced by an attached resume)
Bachelors Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in related field. Two years of full-time related research experience in a clinical setting.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working as a research study coordinator and experience in clinical trials. Experience in database management and/or use of software, such as REDCap. Experience with phlebotomy on human subjects.Brief Description of Duties:
The Clinical Research Support Specialist will ensure the smooth progress of clinical studies, registries and databases from the planning stage through completion and post-study closure. The successful incumbent will effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately. The successful incumbent will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and must be detail-oriented.

Duties:

  • Screen and enroll patients for clinical research trials and studies; complete study patient visits; collect, enter and submit clinical trial patient data.
  • Interact and correspond with various internal and external constituents, including sponsors, cooperative groups, Institutional Review Board and regulatory agencies.
  • Collection, processing, and shipment of human blood samples and biospecimens.
  • Various administrative duties such as billing, budgeting, and contract administration; maintenance of clinical research study supplies and drug accountability.
  • Coordinate various research studies and ensure compliance with federal guidelines.
  • May assist principal investigators with grant submissions and renewals.
  • Depending on the nature of protocol, some positions may perform patient care duties related to study protocol.
  • May supervise or coordinate the work of other staff
  • Other duties as assigned
