Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Lackawanna, NY. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $35/hr based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment

Perform daily and weekly facility inspections

Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment

Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories

Prepare mechanical maintenance reports and records

Control downtime through preventive maintenance techniques

Perform various mechanic skills (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders

Comply with OSHA safety and health rules

Perform facility and grounds maintenance functions

Manage equipment disposal and installation processes

Conduct risk assessments for potential hazards

Requirements

Technical degree or equivalent (preferred)

Detail-oriented

Good communication skills

Ability to complete preventative maintenance reports

Knowledge of basic hand tools

Experience with writing/managing maintenance budgets

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred)

Own basic PPE

7-10 years in a maintenance role

7-10 years manufacturing experience

Mechanical/electrical experience (preferred)
