Responsibilities:As a front-line representative of the Delta Sonic Team, individuals in this position can enjoy working in our state-of-the-art Car Care Centers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension components, sensors, etc. Certified Service Technicians will also be required to perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks and must have experience doing alignments. You must be able to greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner while ensuring that each customer is educated on the products and services that we offer. One of the most important responsibilities of the Automotive Mechanic position in achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonics standard of quality. The pay range for this position is $20.00-$30.00 per hour, plus commission, depending on experience.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age

A valid drivers license is preferred

ASE certification recommended

NYS Inspector License is required (NEW YORK STATE ONLY)

Good mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs

Alignment experience is preferred

Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service

A detail-oriented mindset

Must be a team player

Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments

Ability to work with a sense of urgency

Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time

Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight

Willingness to work a flexible schedule
