Job Description

The Senior Contract and Government Relations Analyst will be the consummate professional that embodies the “subject matter expert” across several federally regulated matters. This person will be responsible for maintaining knowledge in regulatory matters covering the governance of the entity, and is responsible for managing and implementing programs that ensure this compliance. This position can be remote and must reside in the United States.

Principal Responsibilities:

Implement and advance federal, state and local government business contracting compliance core policies, standards and procedures, practices, tools, systems, internal controls, risks assessments and auditing.

Provide subject matter expertise and counsel for various federal regulatory matters.

Responsible for all General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule contracts across the entity, including sales data analysis to support informed decision making.

Responsible for management of various projects for process improvement, increased productivity and revenue growth.

Partner cross-functionally with sales, business development and legal on governmental sales opportunities to ensure regulatory commitments.

Periodically assess pending sales opportunities for compliance with federal procurement standards.

Maintain systems as required in support of federal contracts.

Prepare and provide periodic regulatory compliance reporting.

Ensure sales force is informed and understands the tools that are available to them and the processes they are to use; train and support the sales force to ensure legal entity is in compliance.

Participate in industry groups and forums to stay up to date and current on industry trends.

Provide support for internal department processes, systems, or special projects as required.

Coordinate periodic self-assessments and development and implementation of enhancements to compliance practices and facilitate internal and external audits.

Manage the maintenance/documentation of SAM, Unique Entity ID, CAGE codes and supplier representations & certifications.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, accounting or commensurate work experience required.

3-5 years experience with government relations preferred, with specific hands-on experience with GSA federal contracting and regulations.

Government compliance experience including FAR, DFAR & NIST, procurement, and pricing required.

Working knowledge of SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Able to interpret, explain, and apply federal procurement regulations required.

Able to assess risk inherent to federal contracts and apply business measures to address risks required.

Proven analytical skills and an advanced Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects & requests simultaneously.

Strong written and oral communication.

Ability to work independently, coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.

Working knowledge of federal government systems such as eBuy, GSA Advantage, SAM and USAspending.

Willingness to travel, less than 10% travel required.

Additional Information

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $130,000.
