JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Learning and Performance Systems Department in the College of Education seeks to hire part-time research associates at the University Park campus. Typical duties include assisting with research projects by assisting with data collection and data management, conducting qualitative or statisticalanalysis, synthesizing literature, and assisting with the writing of manuscripts.

Qualifications
Position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to act ethically with research subjects and data. Must be a team player who can work with diverse youths and adults. The candidate must be able to carry equipment and educational materials and supplies, with or without accommodation. Preference to candidates with graduate coursework in research ethics, methods, or educational and learning theories.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
