Job Summary:The Account Executive meets and exceeds local and national sales goals selling our outstanding inventory to qualified advertisers by developing new business through direct to customer outreach and high-level agency contacts. This role develops and maintains long-term advertising relationships by presenting comprehensive proposals and competitive, profitable pricing structures in collaboration with our Sales, Marketing and Operations teams across our broad range of digital and printed inventory.
Job Responsibilities
Drive for revenue target attainment, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Prospect and develops new customer relationships, persuasively communicates strategies for meeting customer needs, within assigned markets/territory
Regularly conducts outside sales activities, including but not limited to obtaining orders and/or contracts for Clear Channel services, while away from the Clear Channels place(s) of business, including away from a home office (if applicable).
Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating many aspects of the customers account in coordination with graphics, operations, marketing, collections, and finance staff
Generate media kits and proposals based on the customers needs, with support from marketing team
Negotiate fees or services with clients, with management approval
Oversee sale from start to finish and ensures client satisfaction
Develop and maintains sales pipeline report, accurately forecasting revenue projections
Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments to sufficiently service our clients
Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience required.

Work Experience
2-3 years of sales experience; Media/Advertising sales preferred
Demonstrated track record of business-to-business sales experience

Skills
Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social media platforms
Sales achievement with experience in consultative or “needs” based selling techniques
Able to complete required math calculations (e.g., multiply, divide, rate, ratio, percent, produce/interpret bar graphs)
Sales and marketing skills
Understanding of sales cycle and selling skills

Attendance in weekly/monthl meetings is required.

This position primarily involves working both in an office environment and in the field, making sales calls, and servicing existing accounts.
Employee must have the ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds.
Employee must have the ability to see written documents and computer screens, and to adjust focus.

Other Requirements
Able to travel outside of the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events.
Has a valid drivers license.
Access to a reliable vehicle.
