Being a Production Specialist in Apparel at Devereux Adult Services has its Advantages
- This position provides you the opportunity to become involved in well-established and successful vocational and pre-vocational programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition, it will offer the ability to utilize creativity and business strategy to ensure growth and program development.
The Production Specialist will be responsible to:
Provide oversight and management of assigned business area in The Shops (vocational program) for Devereux Adult Services.
Responsible to research and recommend business enhancements and/or contract opportunities.
Ensure production work and services are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with contract specifications.
Serves as a liaison with the community businesses and organizations to market Devereux Industries products and services.
Prepares program area for the day and work tasks
Engage individuals in productive work and/or purposeful training activities and utilizing positive approaches.
Completing quality control checks, maintain inventory of supplies and re-ordering as needed.
Completes all documentation and data entry accurately
Completes and review client and staff timecards accurately
Maintains a safe and efficient environment
Pay for this position is $16.00-$18.24 per hour
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community. As a direct support professional you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation to include shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional and personal needs of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: : At least two (2) years’ professional experience in specialized area-apparel (silkscreen and embroidery) is required. The production specialist should possess either certification or proven work experience in their specialty area. A production specialist Apparel should have min. industry experience and should be able to provide a demonstration of their experience (pictures of previous work, etc.) and familiar with apparel equipment and industry standards.Previous experience working directly with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses, preferred. Must possess and maintain valid drivers license, and be at least 21 years of age.
