Position Summary:
LinQuest is actively seeking a full-time Systems Architect supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft. Meade, MD. An active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this position.
Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C3 Enterprise within DoD and oversees systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure. The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs and capabilities that compose the NC3 enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with information engineers to establish system information requirements for NC3 enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
Designing NC3 architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning and developing appropriate corrective action.
Incorporating reference models and profiles of standards into specifications for Information Management solutions.
Collaborating with Configuration Management team to ensure requirements are incorporated into process workflows, coordinating with the NC3 community, and presenting findings/recommendations to the System Engineering and Architecture Board.
Supporting the change process, reviewing Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Operational Certification Packages (OCP), and other associated artifacts so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
Providing advice to the Government on continuous improvement recommendations to the SE&I Systems Engineering Rubric for evaluating the merits of new/enhanced NC3 capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility
Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar technical field
5 years relevant experience in systems architecture, including establishing requirements, design, and ensuring interoperability for information management systems or enterprises, OR
Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills and Experience:
NC3 experience.
Compensation: Starting salary ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
