HOW AN IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Designs and defines system architecture for computer systems
Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
Develops advanced engineering ideas and guides their development into a final product
Develops advanced solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
Perform highly advanced systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
Provides and applies advanced engineering to highly complex infrastructures including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Provides and applies advanced engineering skills to highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
Performs continual maintenance and provides advanced solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes
Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, model formulation, computer architecture analysis and design, and digital systems engineering
Invents innovative ways to drive production operational efficiency
Drives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructure
Implements, manages, and enhances Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools
Creates, maintains, and reviews Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Desired State Configuration (DSC) and/or Puppet configuration management tools to support the provisioning infrastructure
Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May serve as a team or task lead
Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in systems engineering
Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Masters in technical STEM, or demonstrated equivalent operations experience with 4 years executing mission systems experience.
● Required Experience: 15 years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
● Required Skills and Abilities:
Preferably experience with IC customer.
Will need experience working with Enterprise Network Operations with Senior level visibility customers
● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required.

The likely salary range for this position is $175,100 – $236,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
