Summary You will serve as a Welder in the of FRCMA VRT Department, Norfolk Production Branch of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. Responsibilities You will analyze blueprints to decide the best method to complete welding work. You will use drill presses, power grinders, power punches, and benders to shape parts. You will maintain a clean welding work environment by keeping the area free of hazards (e.g., hoses, welding leads, hand tools, supporting equipment). You will braze or solder metals (e.g., steel, steel alloys, tool steel, brass, copper) to perform work. You will demonstrate welding techniques, procedures, and safety precautions to welder trainees.
