Job Summary and Qualifications

1 Safely transports to assigned areas, assists patient in lifting, moving ,transferring.

2 Cleans transport equipment daily.

3 Replenishes O2 tank supply and handles O2 equipment safely.

4 Assists technologist in transferring and the observation of patients.

5. Communicates effectively with all patients, families, peers, supervisors, and other departments

6. Stocks linen and keeps blanket supply replenished in warmer.

7. Provides assistance as needed to fulfill patient and other customer requests.

Maintains an orderly and clean work environment.

1. Prepares the Imaging rooms with necessary supplies and equipment for the diagnostic procedure.

2. Performs clerical duties as necessary for all diagnostic procedures.

3. Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills.

4. Communicates in a clear and concise manner.

5. Interacts professionally and effectively with medical staff, patients and families.

6. Assists the technologist with patient care responsibilities.

7. Transports patients to and from the procedure room.

8. Performs other related duties as required.

9. Sends for patient when directed by technologist.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

One-year related experience preferred.

HOURS

PRN: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
