Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

A TIG Welder is responsible for tacking, welding, and assembling material for industrial parts according to drawing specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Safely operating in all areas is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned.

Hard Skills

2-5 years of TIG welding experience

Ability to work safely and follow all rules

Set up TIG, MIG, & Stick welding machines based on the job requirements

Read drawings to determine specific welding requirements

Layout & weld heavy metal by blueprint from start to finish

Ability to operate fabrication machines such as plasma tables, press brakes, CNC punches, rollers, grinders, and drill presses

Ability to fabricate and assemble

Ability to weld in all positions

Ability to assemble items as instructed by the shop foreman

Ability to work OT up to 55 hours weekly

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

The work environment requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for safety precautions for exposure risks. Shift is Monday – Thursday from 7am – 4:30pm, with opportunities for overtime on Fridays. Must be willing to work OT.
