Logistics Specialist (1st Shift)

The Logistic Specialist ensures the safe, efficient and accurate movement of materials by utilizing the defined standards. Loads, unloads and moves materials within factory warehouse and manufacturing areas. The material handler supports production through distribution of materials by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product. The Material Handling Specialist also maintains basic SAP transactions for inventory control and stock movements, in addition to managing warehouse processes to endure uninterrupted manufacturing.

Safety

Safety first – supports a safe work place, takes action to improve the safety of the factory.

Safely operates tools and equipment, follows all rules regarding Personal Protective Equipment.

Conduct Start-Of Shift inspections of Mobile Equipment prior to shift

Report any unsafe condition found during the Start of Shift inspection to your supervisor immediately

Report any property damage, near miss/incident involving or caused by use of PITs immediately to supervisor

Conduct inspections of required PPE prior to use i.e. Fall Protection
