Job Title: Commodity Manager, Contingent Labor Operations

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Summary and Key Areas of Responsibility

Responsible for daily operations of contingent workers deployed across multiple commodities including Temporary Staffing, Management Consulting, Software Development for Resale, and Software Development for Internal Use.

Champion of data integrity with strengths in continuous improvement and process mapping.

Generate advanced reporting for the Executive Leadership Team and ensure dashboards and reporting tools are populated with accurate and current data.

Maintain consistent audit trails required to satisfy internal approval processes.

Manage end-to-end contingent workforce lifecycle management (request, approval, sourcing, pre-onboarding activities, engagement, and on-offboarding, terminations) and coordinating with cross-functional partners (Legal, Procurement, IT, Strategy, Finance, & HR).

Support initiatives to reclassify contingent labor workstreams ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Validate candidate drug and background screening results to follow NCRV guidelines or monitors adjudication process through to resolution.

Advanced knowledge of levers to drive rate card savings initiatives aimed at reducing overall spend with suppliers.

Monitor SOW acceptance criteria, enforce payment upon milestones, and withhold fees tied to performance.

Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for contingent labor inquiries for internal or external stakeholders and take lead in handling sensitive situations and complaints.

Track and report all key supplier metrics required by the Global Commodity Directors including cost savings, number of suppliers, spend analysis, supplier performance, contracts, DPO, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS undergraduate degree.

At least two years of progressive commodity/supply chain management experience, including hands-on operations experience.

Direct experience managing operations of contingent labor and/or professional services.

Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions.

Ability to indirectly influence and lead cross-organizational and/or cross-functional teams, including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (e.g., project teams) at all organizational levels and/or with outside professionals.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving/troubleshooting, communications, presentation, and problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills

Effective time/resource management and project management skills/capabilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of hands-on Indirect Procurement operations experience with proven track record of process improvement, strategic execution, and value delivery.

Possess advanced knowledge of Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, and Quickbase.

At least three years managing temporary staffing operations and/or professional services providers (including software development suppliers)

In-depth experience with other Indirect Procurement commodity operations including software as a service (SaaS), software licensing, and hardware sales and service.

Work Environment:

Office environment with extended hours during peak work times.

Excellent project management, written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to work in a matrix management environment.
