Job Title: Cleaner Operator

Job Description

Monitors, cleans, and maintains the operation of all the various cleaner equipment used to separate damaged product and foreign material from good product and maintain APSA grades. Monitors, cleans, and maintains various pieces of equipment used to clean unshelled peanuts located in shelling plants and maintains the sanitation of the entire facility as needed. Requires extensive climbing and lifting. Requires employees to disassemble and reassemble various pieces of equipment within the cleaning department and assist with equipment maintenance as needed. Completes various jobs assigned daily, including communicating with colleagues regarding the operation of equipment, changes in flow rates, processing capabilities, safety and maintenance issues, paperwork, sanitation, maintenance, safety assignments, and food safety requirements. Understands safety policies, works safely, and reports any safety hazards or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager or Safety Coordinator. Follows Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.
