The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of residential apartment units and the property grounds. The technician will ensure all units, buildings, and common areas are in good working condition and meet safety standards. This role is essential for maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction by promptly addressing maintenance issues and ensuring that the property remains in good condition.

salary: $19 – $25 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections of apartment units and property grounds.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.

Handle basic carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks.

Address work orders for minor repairs and preventive maintenance.

Prepare units for new tenants, including cleaning, painting, and completing necessary repairs.

Inspect units before move-ins to ensure they are ready for occupancy.

Follow all OSHA and company safety standards.

Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with property safety policies.

Report any hazards or required safety improvements to management.
