Purpose:

Maintain a sanitary and aesthetically clean environment, adhering to state codes, to include resident rooms, baths, office and public areas.

Essential Duties:

Follow the established formal training program, as scheduled for windows and mirrors, glass and solid doors, walls and metal finishes.

Sanitary maintenance of sinks and bathing facilities. Keep supplies to required levels.

Laundry-follow proven methods maintaining infection control, appearance and usefulness of the item.

Attention to quantity and quality of items distributed. Monitor resident laundry-name and appearance of item.

Maintain safety in work and living areas through proper maintenance of facility and adhering to safety standards for work and resident situations.

Qualification:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.

Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.

Environmental Service experience desirable.

Hourly Rate:

$15.00 – $19.50

Background Checks:

A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position. We are a drug free workplace.
