salary: $78 – 81 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Associates

responsibilities:

– Develop software design documents used to create and review code for various industrial control-based platforms and projects

– Develop safety analysis documents used in safety critical applications

– Develop and maintain software code for Rockwell, Siemens and Beckhoff PLCs

– Develop and maintain C/C code on industrial embedded controllers

– Develop and maintain software for industrial Graphical User Interfaces

– Develop and perform control system acceptance test plans

Required Qualifications:

– 5 years of experience in industrial controls or the entertainment ride and show industry

– Proficient in PLC programming and C/C- Experience in safety related control systems

– Experience in software development planning and documentation

– Experience in version control and collaboration software tools

– Knowledge of industrial network protocols, AS-I, INTERBUS, ControlNet, Profinet, CIP and Ethernet IP

– Experience in software testing and commissioning

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience in developing risk assessments and designs using IEC/ISO functional safety standards

– Familiar with IEC – 61131 using Ladder Diagram and Structured Text

– Experience in safety control system design using safety PLCs and safety devices

– Knowledge of industrial control system hardware and system architecture

– Knowledge of I/O and Supervisory Network systems
