Job Description:
At Regions, the Systems Administrator oversees installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systems
Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization
Oversees the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software
Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements
Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting
Manages compliance in Security and Regulatory standards
Some scripting (i.e. PowerShell and Bash)
Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation
Drives improvements to processes and design enhancements
Coordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environments
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field or a technical training program with six (6) years of related experience
Or, a High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experience

Additional Job Description
Perform changes forIWSMainframe and Distributed Job scheduling, maintenance, and enhancements.
Complete updates toIWS/DWC servers including software updates, vulnerabilities, and certificates.
Testing and Validation ofIWS/DWCserver patching.
Report set up and maintenance through CAView (online report viewing).
Production GDG maintenance
Disaster Recoverysetup and test participation forIWS.
Review work submitted by Application Development through the approvedChange Managementtool to make sure all approvals have been received before changes are approved and set up for production systems.
Followchange managementguidelines to implement changes.
Quickly and correct handle tickets in queue.
This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Orlando, FL, Salt Lake City, UT, or Tampa, FL . Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
