Job Overview
TE Connectivitys Machinist Teams responsibilities include, assignment planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment. They work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions, communicating directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivitys EH&S policies and procedures.
Will be trained to service and perform basic PMs on production injection molds as well as perform key and mod changes on injection molds
Will be trained to service and perform basic PMs and on Hot Runner Manifolds
Confirm and Close out work orders in SAP (will be trained)
Will be trained to read tooling prints for the purpose of performing key and mod changes
Basic machining skills on CNC, Lathe, Surface Grinder
Ability to read micrometers and calipers.
Do their part to maintain mold shop order (5S)
Adhere to all safety policies
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED NOT A MUST.
We are currently hiring to fill a 2ND shift position (Monday thru Friday 2PM – 10:30PM). Training will be conducted on 1st shift. Training will be conducted on 1st shift.
What your background should look like:
– High School degree or GED
– Basic machining skills preferred
– Willingness to learn to read micrometers and calipers.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$35,040 – $52,560 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary Incentive(s) Benefits
