Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Event Operations Coordinator for a non-profit client in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role will be remote but local travel will be required as the event at the Knoxville Zoo gets closer. You will be reporting into the Executive Events Director and will assist with all operational and administrative tasks leading up to the fundraising walk. Day to day responsibilities will vary but the main initiative will be to help with managing logistics for the event and driving sponsorships. Strong written and verbal communication is required as you will be responding to emails and corresponding with external vendors, volunteers, and other day of event staff. This role will be a contract position through the end of October, but there is a chance it could be extended for additional walks based on performance. All applicants must be available to attend the Fundraising Walk on Sunday 10/20.

Skills and Requirements
1 year of experience supporting a non-profit Fundraising Walk
Proven work experience as a Coordinator, Staff Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication Nonprofit Development experience (fundraising, donor cultivation, strategic planning, fostering partnerships, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce
Experience as a volunteer or event planning coordinator/intern
Experience planning fundraising events such as golf tournaments, galas, etc. null
