Major Account Representative

AutoZone, Inc.

AutoZones Major Account Representative will be responsible for working with multi-unit customers to resolve issues and improve DSO associated with 60MM commercial account receivables. Uses analytical methods to report to management trends affecting AutoZone commercial credit customers. Strong knowledge of AutoZone systems, policies and procedures. Proven skills with software packages used at AutoZone (Excel, Access, FoxPro, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works directly with chain account management, CCS (outside credit vendor), and AZ management to reconcile accounts receivable issues to insure locations remain in good credit standing.

Develops and maintains KPI reporting on account performance.

Responsible for providing periodic updates and recommendations for improvements to management (both AZ & Vendor) on performance to key metrics.

Evaluates accounts to make recommendations on credit limit increases, decreases, and possible suspension of service (both HS and Supply Chain).

Provides management with visibility to customer solvency and credit worthiness.

Evaluates process and procedure issues and make recommendations for improvements.

Develops and directs project plans associated with changes.

Works cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and AZ Commercial teams to create collateral and training materials to educate sales teams (outside & inside) and customers about credit options and special handling issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree (BA, BS) or equivalent

Three to five years direct experience in Finance/Accounting
