Summary
The Post Award Coordinator provides Post Award support on existing grant awards. Such support is provided to the (3) Schools within the College of Education and Human Development (EDHD). The Post Award Coordinator should have an understanding of budgeting and accounting and provide coordination between faculty and staff within the college, the Research and Sponsored Programs, Purchasing, and the Controllers Office (Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Post-Award/Grants Accounting.)
Essential Functions
• Review all grants prior to submission and meet regularly with the PI and Sr Grants & Assessment Coordinator or those grants that are awarded. Post Award Coordinator will also meet with Grants Accounting once a grants analyst has been assigned. Post Award Coordinator will understand all pertinent compliance clauses and regulations and understand key reporting requirements. This includes reviewing the terms and conditions of the award and working with other university units as needed. Post Award Coordinator will collaborate with the PI, Sr Grants & Assessment Coordinator, and Grants Accounting on budget revisions and adjusting project timelines/scope of work for all major awards with.
• Provides post award grants support by processing and tracking expenditures against the grant budget, assisting the PI with purchases of supplies, services (contracts and/or independent contractor agreements), coordinating with purchasing on appropriate procurement methods/documentation, and working with payroll to make sure personnel expenses are being charged correctly. This may include creating contract addendums (Personnel Action Form), supplemental pay contracts, or providing amounts for summer contracts.
• Work with school support staff, the Sr Grants and Assessment Coordinator, the College Budget Administrator, School Directors and Associate Dean for Research as needed on making sure personnel and non-personnel expenses are in compliance with both the universitys policies and sponsor requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
The following Degree is required:
• Bachelors degree required. Degree must be conferred at the time of application.
The following Experience is required:
• 1 year experience with grant proposals, budget development with various funding agencies, and/or project management
The following Experience is preferred:
• Experience working in Higher Education
