The Perry County Health Department (PCHD) is offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time Public Health Accreditation Coordinator to join our dedicated team. Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services you will lead the Re-Accreditation process for the Perry County Health Department by working with the PCHD Accreditation Team and staff to ensure the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) standards and measures are implemented and reported appropriately to meet PHAB requirements.
In this role, you will build broad awareness of our goals and culture of quality improvement. You will also be responsible for the coordination, development, maintenance, and management of Public Health Accreditation Reports, the PCHD Strategic Plan, the Performance and Quality Improvement Plan and Performance Management System, the Perry County Community Health Assessment (CHA), the Perry County Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), and additional plans as required by PHAB.
Minimum Qualifications for the Accreditation Coordinator position include a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience working in public health or with program/project management including the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of a major program and/or project. Candidates must also possess strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs. Candidates should possess a demonstrated ability to successfully work with a team and build relationships. Candidates should also have excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines, experience managing multiple projects and teams, and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Additionally, applicants must be able to communicate in writing and orally with linguistic and cultural proficiency. Applicants must have a valid Ohio Drivers License, with ongoing proof of auto insurance.
Experience working in public health or a masters degree in public health is preferred. Preference will also be given to candidates with a keen knowledge of public health accreditation, comprehension of the Ten Essential Public Health Services and the Foundational Public Health Services, and demonstrated interest in performance management, continuous quality improvement, and public health infrastructure development.

Starting pay for this position is $19.44 to $21.38per hour, depending upon education level and experience. Our benefits make Perry County Health Department an exceptional employer.
