Summary You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division (WXQ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Open to applicants of ORG and sub-org: WXQ, WXQD, WXQL, WXQM, WXQN, WXQNL, WXQR, WXQS, WXQT, WXQV, WXQW, WXQX, WXQY. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. The salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435). Responsibilities You will provide Test and Evaluation support in the Systems Development Branch of the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division. You will plan and lead test events for Counter-UAS and Counter-IED equipment. You will support Research and Development efforts for Expeditionary Multi-Function EW systems. You will provide recommendations for improvements to EW systems based on test data. You will partner with other organizations, internal to Crane and external, to support planning and execution of MFEW Research and Development efforts. You will write test plans, test reports, and other documentation in support of Counter-UAS and future MFEW systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical electronic engineering leadership and guidance for research, development, or testing of Radio Frequency (RF) or Countermeasure system technologies in support of electronic warfare system technological advancement and sustainment of the fleet. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
