Job Title: Wastewater Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Plant Operator for an operations project in Brook, IN. The Plant Operator performs a wide range of mid-complex to complex tasks encompassing field assignments based on client requirements.
Hard Skills
Daily operations and maintenance of treatment plant
Minor routine maintenance of equipment
Working knowledge of fundamental principles, terminology, and methodology
Operating facilities with computer or PLC controls
Monitoring, regulating, and adjusting chlorinators, chemical feed pumps, and other process equipment
Collecting samples and performing routine in-lab tests
Maintaining a log of operations and maintenance activities
Operating system to maintain compliance with permit requirements
Washing clarifiers, dissolved air flotation systems, contact basins
Operating sludge handling equipment and other process unit equipment
Making routine laboratory and field tests for control of plant operations
Operating equipment like forklift, aerial or scissor lifts, generator, compressors, pumps
Soft Skills
Good interpersonal skills
Participation in creating a safety culture
Adherence to company policies and standards
Good record-keeping skills
Comfortable with computers and computer-controlled equipment
Capable of learning new operating, maintenance, analytical or computer skills
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 7 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Brook, Indiana.
Work Environment

The role requires a High School Diploma / Vocational training or equivalent, applicable health & safety training, typically 5 years’ experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a valid driver license. Wastewater operator licenses are preferred but not required.
