Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will work with fully automated machines to assemble latch systems for Ford doors. Our facility features Fanuc robots, numerous Festo Cylinders, and prox switches. Your core duties will include interacting with Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering staff to troubleshoot assembly line issues, maintaining production materials and machines, setting up and debugging production equipment, and promoting a safe working environment. You will also perform TPM on equipment and tools, train end users or technical support staff, and modify and repair building and ground facilities.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wixom, Michigan.

Work Environment

Automotive supplier environment which can be unorganized and noisy at times, but generally cleaner compared to most facilities. You will train on 1st shift for the first few weeks and possibly work a split shift initially. The 2nd shift runs from 5pm to 2am, Monday through Friday, with a 5% shift premium. Our company is expanding, with additional lines and warehouse space being added.
