Job Description
THIS IS A NON-CAREERER POSITION THAT IS LIMITED TO 129 HOURS PER MONTH AND 719 HOURS PER APPOINTMENT.
Act as a direct representative of the State of Michigan to the traveling public. As a travel counselor, provide and distribute literature, information, and guidance on travel and vacation activities within the state. Assist in preparing literature displays in the center. Assist in clerical work.

This State Worker position is for summer help at the Welcome Center in their literature area. This is not a permanent position, it offers no benefits, the rate of pay is $16.00 per hour, and the hours will not exceed 129 hours per month, or 719 hours per appointment. This is not negotiable, and the hours are not guaranteed. Do you have any concerns with this?

During the summer, the Welcome Center is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Sunday through Saturday (subject to change to accommodate a 10-hour day). Please select the hours and days that you are available to work an 8 hours shift (excluding 1/2 hour for lunch). Check all that apply.
