Overview/Function: The Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in the success of the branch with responsibilities for a variety of activities. They handle shipping and receiving of Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company products, ensure incoming products and materials are efficiently stored in the correct location, and assist with administrative and office support.

Major Responsibilities:

Assist with administrative and office support for the facility’s day-to-day operations, including route check in.

Act as primary office reception, including routing incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, and sorting/distributing mail; this includes receiving of cross dock, UPS, FedEx, and all other mail.

Lock down the facility and set alarm.

Import and export daily orders utilizing Bizstride.

Inventory management and monthly reconciliation.

Assist branch sales team with order transactions, daily logs, and unscheduled customer orders (aka hotshots), including order entry and invoicing.

Strip route trucks in preparation of loading cross dock.

Move product throughout the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner – transfer product, pallets and shells.

Organize pallets and shells for transfer to production.

Safely utilize material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).

Count and inspect product; ensure accurate reports. Help to resolve order discrepancies.

Handle damaged and outdated product.

Comply with all safety procedures. Maintain clean and orderly work area to ensure safety.

Ethical conduct is expected at all times.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

Good administrative support and organizational skills.

Excellent customer service communication skills in order to interact with customers. Must provide professional demeanor with customers which upholds Atlantic Bottling’s brand image.

High school diploma/GED.

Class B CDL is helpful, but not required.

Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.

Ability to follow all safety requirements/protocols.

Good team-player.

Ability to maintain a professional decorum and a high level of confidentiality.

Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.

Positive, helpful attitude.

Computer experience and attention to detail is necessary.

Additional:

This position is very active and requires the employee to frequently lift and/or move items up to 55 lbs. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)

Standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The role is considered a safety sensitive position.

To accomplish their tasks, the position will work in a warehouse environment in which the temperature is unregulated and dependent upon outdoor temperatures.

Work hours may vary based upon business need, Monday-Friday (possible schedules could be 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).
