General Production Worker

Hiring for a General Production Worker in the Rosemount, MN area! GREAT opportunity paying up to $25/hour.

Job Description

The position is a utility role. The candidate will work in the loading dock filling trucks. Tanker trucks arrive at an enclosed fill station where the filler operator will receive a work order for the required materials. The operator will select the correct chemical in the controls room, don proper safety gear (rubber boots, rubber overalls, rubber jacket, and full face shield), and hook up a large hose to the tanker truck. They will then operate the controls to fill the tanker and ensure the correct amount is loaded. The role also involves driving Forklifts to move barrels or totes to filling areas and filling them by connecting hoses to the correct chemical by weight.

The individual will work as a production worker handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, staging for shipments, moving products with a forklift, labeling products correctly, and performing some chemical filling. The facility focuses on filling tanks with chlorine, rebuilding tank valves, and performing general labor work. The role also includes cleaning, prepping, and sandblasting pre-used tanks, as well as inspecting final products before shipping to ensure proper labeling and sealing.

Hard Skills

3 years of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

2 years of experience documenting work, whether it be outbound shipments, or quality checks on parts manufactured

Must have strong computer experience, to enter in information, pull orders, track orders

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rosemount, Minnesota.

Work Environment

The work base for this role is the Rosemount site, with flexibility required to assist at the Saint Paul sites as well. The role involves working from 10am-6pm with the possibility of overtime. The work environment is a chemical manufacturing plant, specifically in a filling station to load chemical products onto trucks. Safety gear is provided and must be worn at all times.
