Job Description
As an Supervisor, you will utilize your problem-solving skills to perform root-cause analysis on essential machines. You will troubleshoot using knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems in order to repair, move, and maintain machines and tools.
Principle Responsibilities:
– Keep manufacturing equipment in operating condition by diagnosing equipment failures, effecting repairs, and testing equipment to assure that failures have been corrected.
– Source parts and/or service on a priority basis as necessary to get critical equipment back into operation.
– Manage replacement part inventory & re-stock as needed.
– Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, and interact with associates to ensure PMs are done completely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
– Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, catalogs, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
– Inspect buildings, machines, equipment, structures, and materials to determine what to repair.
– Estimate costs of repairs, purchase supplies, and parts from distributors or stores.
– Perform routine facilities maintenance.
– Exhibit a working knowledge of health and safety, responsible for safety awareness, while upholding and improving the culture of safety within the organization.
– Flexibility on hours to perform maintenance and provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment outside of normal work schedule.
– Other tasks as assigned.

This is a fully on-site position in ALBERTVILLE, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Metal fabrication company specializing in tubing. They are large suppliers to the motor sports industry, producing frames and accessories. It is a newer shop that just finished renovation and addition of 70,000 square feet. The shop is clean and organized with bright lighting.
