Job Description

A production company in Ramsey, MN is currently hiring for shift Mechanical Assemblers. Employees are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks required to assemble, prep sub-assemblies, and move completed units. There are 32 different machines they are responsible for assembling.

Job Duties:

– Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.

– Move machines as required.

– Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.

– Use a manual and electric pallet jack.

– Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing facility and is not air-conditioned, so it will get hot in the summer. Although this is the newest part of the building, it is fairly nice. The environment is very well-lit with skylights and organized. Employees are trained on multiple assembly lines, so they must be versatile. The work is done in assembly pods composed of roughly 3-4 people, where they will assemble certain machines. Employees will learn one pod/cell at a time and then cross-train into other areas. It is a very team-oriented environment.
