Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design and development of complex enterprise-level applications using J2EE technologies. The role will involve deep technical analysis, driving strategic project initiatives, and ensuring best practices in both design and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
This position focuses on analyzing intricate software requirements, assessing technical feasibility, and coordinating efforts across multiple teams to deliver solutions within strict time and budgetary constraints. You will be tasked with overseeing code deployment, system integration, and adhering to advanced source control and branching strategies. Additionally, you will manage comprehensive code reviews to ensure compliance with internal modification standards, alongside delivering technical documentation and performance evaluations for system improvements and modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end development of enterprise systems, from design to deployment, including system extensions and modifications.
Own the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, feasibility studies, and technical analysis.
Serve as the primary liaison between technical staff, stakeholders, and offshore teams to drive project milestones.
Oversee and ensure compliance in code reviews, source control management, and branching strategies.
Implement Oracle Retail applications and oversee custom development for Xstore, Xoffice, Customer Engagement, Merchandising Systems, and more.
Manage the integration of complex systems while ensuring that new development seamlessly integrates with existing infrastructure.
Troubleshoot critical software issues and implement solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices to ensure seamless system modifications and extensions.
Work with both in-house and offshore teams to execute on technical design, software development, and system deployment strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in a senior technical engineering role with a focus on large-scale systems.
Extensive experience in enterprise system design, development, and modification using Java/J2EE.
Expertise in advanced database management systems, including Oracle and SQL Server.
strong background in source code management, systems integration, and branching strategies.
Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Retail applications, including Xstore, Xoffice, Customer Engagement, and others.
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and offshore teams.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field, along with 5 years of progressive experience in a technical engineering or related role, is required.
