We are looking for a safety conscience, reliable Planer Operator who thrives working around wood and understands the lumber industry or wants to learn.  This career opportunity could allow you to enjoy three-day weekends!Pay:  Starting at $21.89/hourShift:  Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Three day weekends!Responsibilities:Serve as Planer backup for other employeesTrim end puller and pull chain operatorMonitor sticker stacker machineNotify foreman of any quality problems and any mechanical or electrical problemsStack lumber and tally lumber unitsFill out inventory tickets and edits computer generated inventory ticketsSort off-grade and damaged lumberSecure lumber units and paper wrap units assisting banderClean and shovel snow under the planer infeed as neededOperate forklift, floor sweeper and water truckRequirements:High School Diploma or GED, preferredAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen, requiredKnowledge of lumber quality and grades, preferredExperience operating machinery, preferredWhy you want this job:This is a temp-to-hire position that has long-term health and benefits package including 401k options with employer matching funds.Contact Jared, your career coach, and lets work together to help you start your career with this locally invested company here in the Flathead Valley.Get in touch!
