gas distribution industries, is looking for a Manufacturing
Engineering Technician to join our team.

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician has the primary
responsibility of direct support for specified processes including
performing changeover, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Processes include specialized equipment that require strong, logical
problem-solving skills, frequent use of mechanical abilities, as well as
a strong working knowledge of machining fundamentals. In this role, the
technician is the primary leader and sole point of contact on the
prospective shift for these processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Perform machine changeovers and setups in a time efficient, safe
manner.
– Constantly strive to improve processes and eliminate downtime.
– Ensure all documentation is developed and up to date, including tool
drawings, setup instructions, and other relevant documents.
– Work closely with Operations, Planning, and Leadership to ensure
production KPIs are met.
– Be able to provide recommendations and insights on process
improvements, tooling, and cost reduction as related to the assigned
processes.
– Train, mentor, and coach operators and other support personnel on
assigned processes.
– Perform job duties on 1st, 2nd, and / or 3rd shift as required.

Required Experience and/or Education:

– Associate degree in engineering related field highly preferred.
– Relevant and equivalent work experience will be considered.
– 2 to 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment involving
high speed machining and automation.
– Proven experience using precision measuring equipment to
troubleshoot machine problems.
– Working knowledge of CNC programming and machining technology
– CNC programming and application experience preferred.
– Experience with manual lathes, mills, and other equipment preferred.
– Knowledge dealing with complex manufacturing situations, hardware
specifications, quality standards, product development, CAD / CAM,
and technical specifications.
