Qualifications ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Anticipates problems and obstacles associated with moderately complex projects and proactively develop creative solutions to address them prior to implementation. 2. Performs a variety of budgeting systems assignments to acquire and administer financial, material, and information resources in support of formulation justification, and presentation of exhibits and other budget materials. Describes in detail the planning, budgeting, funding, and procurement processes for system software, hardware development/deployment, as well as property, plant and equipment (PP&E). 3. Crafts effective recommendations for highly complex or sensitive situations that incorporate strategic direction by identifying the impact of the course of action. 4. Applies depth and breadth of knowledge of the organization to perform well and/or guide others on the full range of complex or varied assignments that impact the reputation of the organization. 5. Presents a positive, professional image of the office to all clients, colleagues, and leadership in spoken and written complex communications. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Previous Combatant Command and or DOD financial advising experience. 2. Previous experience working the Intelligence Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Evaluation (IPPBE) process/system. 3. Coordinates adjustments to schedules, tasks, and priorities when necessary. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS LICENSE and CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS 1. Financial Management Cert Education Additional Information DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency’s conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement.
