## Requirements

– Experience in mechanical repair
– Experience in welding (mig, tig and arc)
– Have a positive and professional attitude
– Follow GMPs at all times
– Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies
– Notify management immediately of any unsafe situations
– Follow all Food Safety Policies
– Must always follow LOTO (Lock out Tag out) program
– Participate in daily LEAN meetings and stretches
– Regular attendance is required
– Prompt, on time reporting to work stations is required
– Ability to walk between buildings/work outdoors in all conditions (hot or cold environments)
– Ability to stand up to 8 hours per day
– Ability to walk on uneven surface, ramps and stairs
– Ability to climb step and extension ladders
– Ability to bend, stoop, twist, push, pull 7-8 hours a day
– Must provide own hand tools per Tool Stipend Policy
– Strength Level Factor 4 – Exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly.

## Essential Functions

Essential Functions

– Complete monthly PMs (Preventative Maintenance) work orders for all the facilities of Westin Packaged Meats – Fairbury Operations in a timely manner
– Complete work order requests for equipment repairs, i.e., process equipment, its sub-systems and all ancillary processes or equipment related to the operation of the plant floor from a mechanical or welding perspective
– Running and bending conduit and pipe
– Complete work order requests for any facility repairs including, but not limited to carpentry and painting
– Adheres to all company policies including, but not limited to: safety, GMPs, and SOPs
– Actively participates in all assigned team meetings, training opportunities and required continuing education
