This Seed Processing Company, in Waverly , is a growing company, looking for self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals to be trained in seed quality for production operations.
Job Title: Production Worker Agricultural
Location: Waverly, NE
Pay range: 17.00
Whats in it for you?
Wages: $17/hr – Full time
Shift: 1st – 7 am to 3:45 pm Monday through Friday (evenings & weekends required).
Temp to perm opportunity
What is the job?
Operating & maintaining equipment used in seed drying, sizing, and conditioning.
Accurately logging & recording data in daily operations.
Processing seed through different size screens.
Notating of the size and shape uniformity, color, any abnormality including the evidence of potential seed or non-seed contamination, and integrity within a particular coated or non-coated seed product.
Following written/verbal instructions for highest standards of seed production quality.
Perform a detailed inspection of the seed order to identify potential seed lot abnormalities.
picking orders of seed from our customer seed inventory and then portioning the seed order into appropriate sized batches.
Application of particular inert materials to make seeds that are small and irregular in shape amenable to plating with conventional planting equipment.
Preparation of the various inert materials, chemistry and / or beneficial microbes for seed coating application.
What youll bring to the job?
High school or equivalent
Drivers license required
Self-starter
Ability to lift 60 lbs
Good math and computer skills
Dependable
