Job Title: C-Store Shift Supervisor

Location: Bridgeport, NE

We are looking for aC-Store ShiftSupervisor to join the Legacy Coop team at Ampride in Bridgeport, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, cash management experience, and strong time management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude but not limited to:

Follow and complete store opening and closing procedures accurately and within deadlines.

Promote suggestive marketing sales provided by management at point of sale.

Provide friendly and courteous service to all customers, assisting them in a timely manner.

Accurately run cash register and point of sale.

Provide cleanup and maintenance to the store facilities on a daily and as needed basis.

Maintain adequate stock, refilling when necessary. Assist in inventory management.

Prepare food/drinks as needed within specifications and within deadlines for customer needs.

Work in a safety conscious manner and report safety hazards promptly.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise employees on shift in absence of manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
