National Sales Manager – Packaging

Overview
This position is responsible for leading the sales team and achieving the growth of the Packaging business on both Analogue & Digital products. Evaluate the current performance of the Packaging business and find ways to help it reach its full potential by identifying new business, product or service opportunities that support the overall growth strategy potentially includingacross Latin America. Responsible for justifying new opportunities against current and future solutions, with a focus on high-value, unique competitive advantages. Plan the optimal go-to-market strategy that provides short and long-term sustainable growth.
This position is remote, the preferred location is near a major airport.
FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories . The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.
The Graphic Communication Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver world class, state of the art solutions for Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and a full range of traditional Offset supplies. In addition, we are the industry leader in Color Standardization and G7 implementation.

Responsibilities
Sales Team Management : 90%
Manage the day-to-day Packaging business
Manage sales funnel for packaging sales team
Conduct periodic salesforce reviews of all opportunities
Hold packaging sales team accountable for budgetary numbers
Coach all team members on accelerating opportunity close dates
Review each team member’s performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their productivity
Travel with each packaging sales team member regularly to assist with customer relations
Meet or exceed sales goals provided by the company
Have sales team provide equal number of opportunities in both analogue and digital segments
Develop and maintain a robust ideation pipeline toward targeted opportunities to continuously grow the business and generate sales.
Participate in customer demonstrations, trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products and generate leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team and lead sales to ensure execution of the go-to-market strategies.

Business Development : 10%
Identify emerging opportunities by researching industry events, publications, announcements, competitive offerings, tracking sales trends, speaking with leading customers, etc.
Evaluate potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, business requirements, technical and financial investments, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, recommending future investments.
Propose new business opportunities by determining the investment requirements and potential returns.
Analyze project performance and company impact to drive insights; track/report on campaign costs, performance, and ROI.
Monitor sales performance vs. sales goals for all products and address countermeasures to the sales if there are gaps.
Assist in any new developmental projects or testing programs in relation to competitive products
Protect the organizations value by keeping information confidential at the appropriate management level.
Update market knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining a customer network, participating in professional organizations, etc.
Work effectively with key C-Level decision makers, develop long term strategic relationships.
Prepare a business review for the senior management team monthly.
Required Skills/Education
5 years related experience in the Flexographic and/or Packaging Industry.
5 years people management experience.
Extensive knowledge of current and past Flexographic and/or Packaging technology and trends in the industry
High interpersonal management skills, able to lead in a team environment
Good communication skills: listening, verbal, written, and visual communication
Ability to conduct effective customer/user interviews
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
Outstanding organization and time management skills.
Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills (product management, support, sales, service, and management)
Ability to interact with and influence various levels of management within accounts
Developed consultative selling and negotiation skills
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Effective presentation skills
Able to build and evaluate revenue, pricing, and product adoption models
Effective meeting planning
Basic CRM skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Valid Driver’s license
Has valid passport required for travel
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50-75%
Desired Skills
General knowledge of flexography, lithography, workflow, color and digital printing
Ability to analyze and communicate product needs and manage product life cycles
Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
Ability to develop innovative solutions and demonstrate good use of independent judgment.
Language fluency in English and Spanish
