Position Summary…

What youll do…

The Systems Implementation Team plans and implements IT infrastructure projects for Walmart and Sams Supply Chain facilities including distribution centers, fulfillment centers, manufacturing plants and real estate fixture warehouses. Our key focus is critical infrastructure: WAN, LAN connectivity, wired & wireless network systems, compute, database storage and low voltage data fiber/ cabling. New distribution and fulfillment centers, large scale remodels, automation and IT systems lifecycle refresh projects make up the Supply Chain Systems Implementation teams program portfolio. The Technology Operations Analyst III associate must have experience managing complex Information Technology programs and projects involving core IT systems and low voltage cabling, fiber infrastructure. Experience in Supply Chain (Logistics) or Industrial environments is preferable.

Building the right technology foundation for Infrastructure & platforms is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.

What youll do:

The role is responsible for developing program strategies and plans, project contracts, implementation plans and schedules, program and project monitoring and control, management of finances, building stakeholder consensus, coordination with business operations and maintaining technology landscape awareness.

Process Improvement – Review and analyze business requirements, resource availability and current processes to develop program and project strategies that enable SMART, cost effective and innovative improvements to the teams delivery of projects.

Program/ Project strategy and planning – Create implementation plans, schedules, and reporting.

Execute project plans to meet planned dates.

Procurement and budget management – Project hardware and labor.

Lead project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

What youll bring:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with project stakeholders, leadership, business customers, and vendors clearly and concisely. Ability to influence and manage stakeholder expectations.

Able to work in high performing environment with tight deadlines and elevated expectations. Experience working on multiple concurrent projects collaborating with multiple teams.

Critical thinking, complex problem solving and troubleshooting.

Build strong and trusting relationships with individuals and teams.

Working schedule flexibility due to project responsibilities that may require occasional evening and weekend work. Open to travel on occasion to support project implementations and training.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
