Summary  

This position is for a Radar Simulation engineer supporting current and future Radar Simulations including 6th generation Fighter Planes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Producing Algorithms for 6th generation Aircraft Radar models

Manage Software Requirements for Radar models

Managing software tasking throughout the lifecycle of the programs

Understanding C and Object Oriented Analysis and Design

Qualifications and Education Requirements  

DoD Secret Clearance is required

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science , Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline

5-8 years software development experience with DoD contract work

Candidate should be a fast learner with very strong analysis and problem-solving skills

Ability to carry tasks through to completion with only general technical direction

Atlassian Jira or IBM Rational ClearQuest experience

Good communications skills

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.  

Preferred Skills  

Strong C/C skills with strong Math Skills

Security Responsibilities  

Must comply  with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.  Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.  All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.   

 Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Work Environment  

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
