Surgical Tech II Full Time

As our Surgical Technician II at the CHI Lakeside Hospital, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiative and Dignity Health, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you.

The operating room (OR) runs as a team, every person on the team has an important role that has a direct impact on the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.

Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke’s Health and a team of specialized physicians— focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine care—in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging including MRI CT and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization

Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting

Adapt to the needs of emergency situations

Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma/GED

Licensure/Certification:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA)

BLS Certification Required

Minimum Experience:

One (1) year of experience

Pay Range

$25.25 – $36.61 /hour
