Summary:

Operators are responsible for the safe operation of large power and machine tools in the production department, perform basic line set-up, and basic troubleshooting, and assist during production workflows.

Experience:

A minimum one-year experience working on a similar position.

High School Diploma required.

Primary Scope:

– Operator will be required to operate several different pieces of large power and large machine tools.
– Operator will perform all tasks and duties in complete collaboration with other employees to create and maintain a safe working environment.
– Operator is responsible to perform basic setups (ex. Line speed, water pressure, etc.).
– Operator will rotate through several operational activities in the production line to meet production needs.
– Operator will work as a team to support changeovers, maintenance activities, etc.
– Operator shall advise the Operation Lead of any production issues and possible corrective action to achieve a consistent process.
– Operator will be requested to work in several shift schedules.
– Operator will perform basic maintenance and/or equipment troubleshooting.
– Employee shall adhere to the companys safety guidelines while.
– Employee shall practice good housekeeping in the production floor.
