[Greet, engage, and assist customers
[Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently
[Understand the point of sale system and handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit/debit, Snap EBT, Offline Snap EBT, WIC, Rainchecks, complex loyalty offers, coupons, and check out procedures according to company policy
[Understand and adhere to the companys limits on cash shortages and/or overages and work honestly and effectively to control loss
[Report pricing discrepancies to the scan coordinator
[Stay current with present, future, and seasonal and special ads
[Adhere to all the food safety regulations and guidelines
[Follow established policies and procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
[Any other job duties designated by management
