Summary About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, TX working as a Facility Operations Specialist for the Defense Health Agency. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Responsibilities Serve as the primary DHA Subject Matter Expert for assigned Medical Treatment Facility organizations under the Facilities Operations Branch. Provide guidance and assistance in developing and implementing facility project planning and operations and maintenance activities. Responsible for monitoring project management of assigned work within the framework of Project Management Business Process, inter-agency obligations, laws, regulations, policies and broad theoretical and practical knowledge of engineering methods. In addition to work performed in the office, the incumbent regularly visits MTF sites, involving prolonged standing, walking, and some activity on rough and uneven surfaces.
