SUMMARY: The Respiratory Therapist performs independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical evaluation of care including the establishment of therapeutic objectives and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BLS Required. ACLS and NRP certifications are required or must be attained within one year of beginning employment in this job classification. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Active member of national and/or state AARC preferred. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Respiratory Care Practitioner Permit from the Texas Medical Board. a population base that covers six counties and consistently performs alongside top hospitals in the nation, both rural and urban, in clinical measures, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.
