Substitute Teacher

The requirements for Substitute Teachers are:

– Minimum of High School Diploma/GED Certificate(Proof of Education required)

– Clearance based on results of TBI/FBI Criminal Background Check

– Clearance based on results of Sexual Offender, Department of Childrens Services and Vulnerable Abuse Registries

– Attendance at Substitute Teacher Training

Substitutes are paid the following:

– Substituting for an Aide – 60.00 per day
– Substituting for a Teacher – 75.00 per day
– Substituting long term – 120.00 on the 11th day forward (this is regardless of certification)
